In just 2 weeks, I co-designed Pawmatch, a mobile app connecting pet sitters and pet owners, following a full UX/UI process validated by the founders. This project allowed me to demonstrate my ability to lead end-to-end design work, tackling real client challenges while collaborating effectively in a duo.

Designing a functional app in 2 weeks, with a real client and real users to understand.
For our final bootcamp project, we were challenged to improve the pet-sitting experience through a mobile app. Working alongside another UX/UI designer, I led the entire process: aligning with the founders, user research, ideation, prototyping, and validation.
Our mission: create an intuitive app featuring a swipe-based matching system inspired by dating apps, focused specifically on pet sitters’ needs.

Scope & Objectives

The client wanted a simple and reassuring app, enabling pet sitters to quickly match with nearby pets. Our goal was to deliver a smooth and coherent experience, from discovering the pet’s profile to managing bookings and communication with owners.

UX/UI Approach

We conducted user interviews on both sides (sitters & owners), created personas, mapped key journeys, and iterated on multiple prototype versions. Each step was grounded in Design Thinking principles, with strong attention to clarity, usability, and logical user flows.

Results & Impact

The project was very well received by the founders, who approved our high-fidelity prototype. The final interface is clear, intuitive, and designed to address the real pain points identified through research. This project strengthened my skills in justified design decisions, client collaboration, and delivering a polished solution under tight deadlines.
